What in the world have I been doing with myself?
It’s been a while since my last post on Garrett Bryant Hair, but I’ve been up to very exciting new ventures. Back in June I officially became a Kerastase T.E.C.H. Artist (Technical Education through Comprehensive Hands-on training), meaning I am now an educator for Kerastase. It was a long time in the making and is something I’ve worked very hard for. Part of my job is traveling to other Kerastase salons and teaching classes on styling and product knowledge. There is also great bonus work that comes along with the job like editorial work, fashion shows, and so on. Most posts to follow will most likely be related to this new endeavor of mine but will still be a great insight into the world of hair and styling.

Just in time for the weekend!
Teaching my friend Sena Yang how to achieve soft natural looking waves with a curling iron at home. In the video I say I’m using a 1 3/4” barrel curling iron, however I meant to say 1 1/2 ” barrel. Oops! Hope you enjoy!
Nicole is graduating from LIM today and she had me style her hair before the ceremony. I worked Kerastase Mousse Volumactive through her hair while it was dry, then curled it all away from the face with a 1.5” Hot Tools curling iron. Then finished with Kerastase Capital Force Spray for a light hold. Congrats Nicole!!!
disConnected haircut on Jessie
Kevan’s back! I posted a haircut of his I did while back that was sort of a classic fade on the sides and longer on top that I slicked back. This is a nice change and a little more streamlined without being too drastic.
New video!!! Here I chop off Ruchi’s hair so she can donate it and at the same time give her a fresh new cut for summer.
